Participation in the folk dance ensemble Zornitza allows Bulgarian youth and adults in the Vancouver area the opportunity to embrace their culture and heritage through dance, music, song, and authentic folk costumes. It grants its participants with good health, excellent physical shape, flexibility and correct posture, development of hearing and sense of rhythm, coordination, imagination, a tendency to creativity, and happiness.
We aim to create a positive environment that is inclusive, supportive, and encouraging to all, promoting participation and cooperation. As a not-for-profit cultural organization, we are only able to evolve through the help of our partners and individual donations from people like you.
