ABOUT DARA
Dara Lyubomirova was born in Charleston South Carolina on April 30,2010. Her big sister Anna also dances in Zornitza! Her favourite flower is a rose because it symbolizes Bulgaria with love and passion. Her 3 favourite colours are purple, blue, and pink. Dara is now in high school and enjoys doing many different sports, like volleyball and running track and field. She hopes to one day achieve her dreams of becoming a professional athlete, and competing in the Olympics!!

ABOUT DANCING
Even though she was born in America, Dara is still able to feel greatly connected to her Bulgarian Culture as she has had the opportunity to begin Bulgarian school and dances at the age of 4. She really enjoys doing Bulgarian folk dances because it’s a way to learn about her culture, and make many new friends. Dara can’t wait to continue her dancing experience at Zornitza dance ensemble, and share our beautiful dances with the world!
