ABOUT ELENA

Elena Nikolova is 17 and currently in grade 12. As much as she loves playing board or card games, it cannot compete with her love to ski, to bike, and to swim. If there is a body of water near, she is always trying to find a way in! As much as she loves social activities, she will always cherish the time she spends alone, whether that’s walking with some music, or in a park with a book.

ABOUT DANCING

Elena was born in Sofia, Bulgaria but moved to Canada when she was still very young. She has been learning Bulgarian dance for over 10 years and joined Ensemble Zornitza just this year! Bulgarian dance has been a great way for her to learn more about her culture in a fun and unique way. She has always deeply loved her culture, Bulgarian dance makes it possible for her to express it!
